I'm so over winter. I really am. I want warm sunny days for dresses, shoes and t-shirts. February you have been a challenge. Well you always are. The shortest month of the year yet the hardest one, because we know Spring is around the corner.

They say- fake it till you make it. So sunglasses came out. I'm calling you sunbeams. Can you see me? Love these so 90's inspired. Brings me back to my teenage years.  And I got second pair of sunglasses too, they are so fun, so summer. Will be appearing hear much later, I think.

Pairing a few of my favorites today.  My trusty breton top, camo vest, jeans and boots. My love to brooches have followed me even to Ireland and small collection (some traveled from Latvia, some gifted) have appeared on my camo vest. My inspiration for embellishing vest came from here. Love this look. This time of year sunglasses are must. The sun is brighter (finally), days are warming up and we can have few less layers. We decided to drive all the way up to Slievecoiltia and have a walk to show our lovely guest how beautiful and different is the view in Summer time. Somehow she always have visited us early in Spring. Sky was clear and we could see all way to the ocean. So magnificent.

Spring forward. When ever I want to bring Spring with first sunbeams I reach for my pink jeans. I picked them up them on sales rack, I think 2 years ago. I wasn't sure if I will keep them, but I wanted to try add some color to my wardrobe. As you can see I pair them with neutrals and if  I'm craving more color I add just little bit with accessories. Especially I like pink and grey combo, but I admire those who are not afraid to pair pink and orange or red.

I would lie to you if I would say I was planing to buy camo vest. It was impulse purchase. It's funny thing with impulse purchases - sometimes they are just an impulse, but other times you wonder how it could possibly be that you didn't realize you needed one in your wardrobe.That's what happen with this camo vest. I have been wearing it even more than you can find here on blog. As you know- I'm repeat offender. I like to get most of my wardrobe and feel comfortable with everything what I have.

The easiest way how to pair something like camo vest is pair with great basics or classic pieces like; breton stripes, black or white button up shirt, cable knit jumper, black jeans, red heels, leopard loafers, etc.

I can't believe how December days are flying. I'm a bit worried that Christmas will be here before we'll know it. We're still on Christmas gift hunt. All weekend we was getting something, yet it's not all.
My first Christmas gift this year came from Latvia. Over weekend I met up with one of my Latvian blog friends. That was so exciting to meet someone in person who I know from my blog. She's been following my blog since this article. That was lovely afternoon and it left me more inspired. I believe that there's reason why we meet people- they come as a blessing or as a lesson. I'm grateful her and all of you for support. It means a lot to me.

Happy Monday everyone!

Personally, I love mixing patterns and textures. It adds personality to the whole ensemble, and allows so much creativity when creating pairings. The easy ways to mix patterns is keeping the color palette similar while focusing on two different prints. For this outfit, I’m playing with a navy theme while mixing camo and plaid together. I'm 90's kid, I have soft spot for soft gunge, Drew Berrymore, stripes, slip dresses, ripped jeans, etc. So there's not big surprise to this outfit. Actually this was second pairing on my mind when I was placing order to this dress ( now is on sale).

We finally had a day for both of us. Life at the moment is so hectic. With Christmas Fairs and everyday duties. Cup of latte and few pastries to share are so wonderful watching sunset. Days are getting colder and windy so turtleneck (or polo neck) have become my essential. Keeps me warm and my hair in place tucked in for a moment having fake bob.

 The weather is still pretty warm considering that it's October. Gosh, it's really October! I love my layers and especially is great to have for layering a vest, so that's why you have lately seen so much of my camo vest. I owe you many apologize, because you may see even more outfits with this great garment which kept me warm and inspired for new outfits. This time it found a pairing with my pajamas print trousers and diamond print blazer. The newest addition for this Mix it! print look is my leather cuff from RR. Love the colour and pretty paisley print.

My love to orange have grown in these past years. Just a hint on nails, lips, necklace and this time in tights as well gives enough of punch of color. It brighten up gloomy day and gives more playful feel to sunny day. Orange is one of those beautiful colors which looks great on anyone. Especially I love when orange is paired with all white look.
