Lace Slip

I thought it will be pretty safe to wear this midi lingerie style dress with oversized jumper when just a lace hem will be peeking out. But it draw too much of attention, what I didn't expect. I thought I dressed it down pretty well keeping it still feminine. I just couldn't wait any longer. Spring is on my mind and I couldn't wait any longer to wear this wonderful dress with bare legs. Even being pale as a friendly ghost Casper. +14C, beautiful Spring blooms and that fresh Spring scent are those who I'm blaming for it. Still I think this navy beauty with black lace trim is a timeless basic that I'll certainly wear often. There are many ways to wear them, with shirts underneath, layering (trench or wool coats, biker jackets, plaid or denim shirt). This time I paired it with a pink jumper to bring a touch of color and I always have loved pairing of mixing heavy knit and soft, light fabric.

    Pale as they may be, the time for bare legs has come. Everyone else's are just as white!
    I think you did a lovely job dressing down the dress, I think the black and pale pink could not be more perfect together.
