The Sun Came Out To Play

Through past months I have selected new pieces for my summer wardrobe and in my head I have played out these perfect looks which I would wear in perfect summer weather that I'm afraid by the time the beautiful, warm summer will come I will be fed-up and uninspired. This transitional time of the year is always the biggest challenge. Hey, but for two weeks I haven't worn my winter coats, so that's a good sign. Saturday came with +18C so that was unexpected treat, but Sunday we was back to +15C . I know I'm rushing things, but if there is two new summer dresses in wardrobe waiting since november it isn't easy to wait.

Day To Day

It's not yet bare leg or shoes weather, but light layers it is. Just like this boyfriend shirt. Simple, easy, but with unexpected detail. It's all about the back. I love how it looks in the movement, playing dancing in the wind.
I'm so looking forward good weather great spend time weekend. This been a challenging week, but hey, life is about ups and downs, and challenges. I try to take it easy, yet my mind is racing and I'm going through lots of emotions. What helps to pull myself together is a nice walk. Just like we had Sunday afternoon. Looking at those pink blossoms makes me happy.

Big Grey

Very unexpectedly I found this jumper just before the Christmas at H&M on sales rack. I couldn't believe my luck. It was good composition and perfect fit- oversized and neck is not too high. Exactly what I wanted in jumper. Since I bough it I was wearing it pretty much nonstop and now into spring it still looks great.

When I was traveling to Latvia, I knew it'll be perfect for travel. It's not heavy, yet it keeps me warm and if I'll need (and I needed it indeed) extra warmth I'll layer it over breton top or shirt.

This jumper is simple yet it's wonderful piece to start any great look.

Spring: Bloom

You can feel with every breath of our town, Spring is here. Despite some frosty mornings and some rainy, gloomy days, which I'm guessing will be even more in April. Yet sun have came out more these days and we have turn clocks by the hour which can't not make me even more happy and daydream that Summer days are not far away. Everything is blooming, the flowers, the girls and new collections in the shops. Soft colors and mix of textures is what I'm reaching for these days. I still cannot say no to lace and pretty little white tops. They so easily pairs with casual jeans in which I'm living every day. Cute pompoms and tassels sometimes are just enough of color to look. Their colors remind me of Spring blooms.

Blue February

This gingham shirt makes me daydream even more of Spring, of sunny days, of ice cream picnics, of color, of blooms and of blue sky. February is bit by bit bringing some sunny days. This wrapping up and surviving gloomy, rainy days is enough. Even this photos was taken in the rain (in 4th photo you can see better). February have been for me a bit blue and I couldn't be more happy that this is last week of this month, which means we're very close to Spring. "What's life without whimsy!" looking at this cute bag I think. It so cute and brings a smile. Little detail which cheers up any outfit as well as bandana. I'm probably late on bandana bandwagon, yet I'm glad I jumped on it, because I'm not anymore a scarf person, I find them too bulky for my height and this tiny scarf have saved me from winds a lot and it brings any outfit to another level.

White Crochet For Winter

Yay it's Friday and yay for little cute, white tops exist, because they are taking over my wardrobe. There is something so sweet about white top with delicate detail (lace, crochet and embroidered), but I'm almost too into white these days because I'm having to make a conscious effort to wear color. Perhaps it's because I'm so busy at work and perhaps winter days have been so gloomy that white is just easy, fresh and clean looking. It's darling with jeans and I threw over my shoulders leather jacket for edginess (thanks god for the +13C). And I couldn't say no to striped beanie.

Blush & Grey

In a middle of the week we had a chance to spent an afternoon together. We took a little stroll in windy, yet beautiful Tramore. You wouldn't consider it as a typically perfect day for walk on shore, but we didn't mind, as long as we are together.
We wrapped up cozy and warm to bear with cold winds and mist. My big, grey coat was just perfect for this weather, like a shield it didn't let any wind to get to me and kept me warm with double power layered over my big, blush jumper, which always saves the day when temperature drops. These two is definitely perfect for cold days and I love pairing of grey and blush.
