Hello July! 

Summer couldn't be more perfect time for lace, embroidery, ruffles, embellishment and lace up. All the pretty and romantic little details. You don't have to go all out, you can always tone it down pairing with more classic, minimal and casual pieces. Most important keep it real, keep it true to yourself. There is way too much fake. Be the same person privately, publically and personally.

These photos have been waiting patiently nearly a month. Time just fly way too fast. We already are in middle of May. It's crazy! I do remember when I was a child the summer holiday's 3 months seemed to be like half of year long. But now I dread that Summer will be gone in a blink of an eye. I would like to slow down and enjoy every moment, but there's no time for that. I hope, I keep my fingers crossed we'll have wonderful Summer. Wonderful Summer to remember.

It's not yet bare leg or shoes weather, but light layers it is. Just like this boyfriend shirt. Simple, easy, but with unexpected detail. It's all about the back. I love how it looks in the movement, playing dancing in the wind.
 I'm so looking forward good weather great spend time weekend. This been a challenging week, but hey, life is about ups and downs, and challenges. I try to take it easy, yet my mind is racing and I'm going through lots of emotions. What helps to pull myself together is a nice walk. Just like we had Sunday afternoon. Looking at those pink blossoms makes me happy.

I don't even remember when my striped love affair started. I think it was way before my teens. I do remember those knitted white and blue stripe trousers what I had as child (I think I was toddler). My teenage years I remember brighter stripe t-shirt and neutral stripe long sleeve top which have been paired in many looks. Stripe is definitely my favorite pattern and it's such a great start of any wonderful look. Just like this simple look back from last weekend. It's laid-back and yet looks put together. 

Most wonderful thing is that there are not such a thing as too much striped tops, because there are great styles out there. I have selected for you few tops - not your average striped top.

Newfound Favorite

All black looks are not for me and I think navy and black pairing is even more chic and modern. It's still not quite spring here, so turtleneck sweater was great choice.  Instead of red lips I went for red boots and this simple look pairing great classics. My tip, if you go for navy and black look, play with textures or if you not sure and want to play safe, then keep your look black and add some navy accessories. The end result - easy elegance.

Very unexpectedly I found this jumper just before the Christmas at H&M on sales rack. I couldn't believe my luck. It was good composition and perfect fit- oversized and neck is not too high. Exactly what I wanted in jumper. Since I bough it I was wearing it pretty much nonstop and now into spring it still looks great. 

When I was traveling to Latvia, I knew it'll be perfect for travel. It's not heavy, yet it keeps me warm and if I'll need (and I needed it indeed) extra warmth I'll layer it over breton top or shirt. 

This jumper is simple yet it's wonderful piece to start any great look.

Spring: Bloom

You can feel with every breath of our town, Spring is here. Despite some frosty mornings and some rainy, gloomy days, which I'm guessing will be even more in April. Yet sun have came out more these days and we have turn clocks by the hour which can't not make me even more happy and daydream that Summer days are not far away. Everything is blooming, the flowers, the girls and new collections in the shops. Soft colors and mix of textures is what I'm reaching for these days. I still cannot say no to lace and pretty little white tops. They so easily pairs with casual jeans in which I'm living every day. Cute pompoms and tassels sometimes are just enough of color to look. Their colors remind me of Spring blooms.
