Holidays

We had wonderful Christmas and New Year celebration, even if we both have been ill. We blaming this stormy, rainy weather, it's too warm and wet for this time of the year, a bit of frost wouldn't be bad. We had loads of lazy days having late movie nights, sleeping in and having way too much delicious snacking going on. I cooked (just like my mom Latvian food)and bought way too much for Christmas. For New Year I cooked less and we had too much sweets left from Christmas. Sadly there is still gifts under the tree waiting, we didn't had a chance to visit all friends as we wanted, since we both was coughing and sneezing. We didn't thought it would be good idea if there was kids and one of our friend is expecting, but I'm sure we'll visit them as soon as we get better.  I hope you all had a wonderful holiday!

Holiday Style

It's just 6 days till Christmas!! I still can't believe. I haven't done all the shopping. We haven't yet put up the tree, it will happen this weekend, but most of home decoration is done. Have you thought what you will be wearing for this festive time of the year? If you still in doubt, I styled 3 lovely layering looks for you. Here's a little mash-up from the end of December till 2015. 2014 I must say was a rather sad one for me. However life is what you make of it and I choose to add a dash of sugar to this mundane dish. I heard that this year will be good to all of us so Happy New Year my friends!!

There's always such a big expectations and rush before Christmas yet it always doesn't last as long as we would like to. I find so important in this crazy and wonderful time of the year enjoy as much as we can Holidays. Christmas isn't a season. It's a feeling.
