Fashion democracy


New year and new shoes. I still can't believe I have them and to be honest I'm quite excited. I love pairing of grey and pink. This  was a gift from my fiance. Thank you so much! He knows me too well that I would probably never would buy them even if I like them. I'm shoes girl, I love my heels even on everyday basis, but living in Ireland, small town it puts different conditions. Weekends can be spent most likely closer to nature- beach, forest walks, hills. And lets be realistic no matter how comfortable heeled shoes are it still puts a pressure. You will not wear them to beach or forest or hill walk. How wonderful that fashion have become more democratic or maybe realistic. It's no more big NO to wear sneakers or wellies. I would never thought that I would be wearing wellies, but living in Ireland where rains a lot proved that it's so practical to have a pair and it always nice to have dry feet on a rainy day going through big puddles. I'm not sure how this adventure will end. Will we be friends with my new sneakers.. But I hope I will not be lost in this comfort and they will not replace my first love- heels.

    nu re cik forši, forši, ka otrs var tādas dāvanas piemeklēt...bet tavs partner jau laikam pats extra fashionable :) man atliek pašai skraidīt apkārt un meklēt.... bišku tev šoreiz nepiekritīšu - par to paldies dievam, ka mode ir demokratizējusies, par to, ka vairs nv big no..... es cik sevi atceros esmu jau no pusaudžu dienām staigājusi kedās...oh manas pirmās converse patsmitgados bija tiiiik skaistas, gribētu atkal, bet laikam netiek ražotas... man nevajag modi, lai būtu ērti.... tad jau sen staigātu ugg.... ērtumu manuprāt vairāk novērtē pieaugot, otrkārt sapratu, ka papēži reāli vajadzīgi tikai izziešanai, kad ir mazs bērns un, kad tas aug... jā jā daudzas saka, es nebūšu tā mamma, kas nestaigās papēžos jo ir bērns un daudzas staigā, bet vai viņas var paspēlēt kariņos pilsētā, vai viņas var staigāt apžogojumu malām, vai viņas var lekt... nu tā man kkā ar sneakers love.. bet te mana stūrgalvība, noteikti nepērku it nike nē nē nē...jo tas ir uztaisīts jau par kkādu aitu sekošanas baru... ahā pelēks ar rozā man arī patīk...\s\adas arī jau uztaisītas tomēr par it, gribētu iespējams tumšsarkanas zaļas varbūt... lai smuki valkājas xx

      Tu mani mazliet parprati. Par paldies dievam, ka mode demokratiskaka ir tas, ka vairs neredz tos smiekligos gadijumus kad meitenes pludmale papezos mokas un to, ka ir piedomats, ka kedas var ari but skaistas(izvele ir daudz lielaka) un to ka realitate ir pavisam cita- ka tu saki mammas nepaskries ar berniem papezos spelejot karinus. Es tinu vecuma ari kedas staigaju. Un kaut kada 2011. gada aprila posta mani var redzet kedas, ta ka nav ka nenesaju vienkarisi ir lietas no ka atrod un tad atkal atriezas dazdu iemeslu del. Bet ir ari erti papezu apavi tikai tie ir katrai jatrod un tur es tev gan nepiekritu, ka tikai iziesanai. Ari ikdiena var, tikai vajag atrast piemerotu un tam nav jabut loti augstam papedim. Reizem sievietes greko skaistuma pec perkot kurpes un nepadomajot vai ertas, es domaju, reali nesasies tas. Dzivojam vienreiz! Bet nu, katram savs. Un par it, man grutak spriest, jo vienam nike, citam converse, ja ierakstitu Pinteresta vai google noteikti daudzi ootd izlektu ar kadiem , pat ar keds un vans. Katram savs brends.

      Ahaaa nu jā skaidrs par to pludmali un tā... un par papēžiem iziešanai, tas ir tikai man, jo ikdienā nevajag, bet ar papēžiem es šeit patiesībā domāju skaistās kurpes...ikdienā man ir zābaciņi uz diezgan augsta papēža un tāpat ikdienai ir kurpes, kur papēdis nav pasakaini augsts.... nu re kā mēs pa vienu un to pašu bet aplinkus :) par to it nike, es ierakstīju jo jā jā katram savs brends, bet nike ir pēdējais modes kliedziens un daudzi jau pērk tikai tāpēc, bet tev taisnība no šiem it brendiem ir tā, kad vajag izdomāt, ko jaunu iet pie nākamā un tā uz apli x

    I love those New Balances! I agree - there is a time and a place for heels but sometimes the occasion calls for more comfortable footwear. I love the pics you chose of the different outfits incorporating them. :)

    This post speaks to me on sooo many levels- I'm so happy fashion has changed round a bit as well, and that fashionistas are now being spotted around fashion week wearing skirts with this great brand of trainers. What a lovely gift from your fiance :) after buying my first Nike air maxes I can't go anywhere without them! Hoping someone will gift me a pair of trainers soon before my ones wear out xx Yuki

    I know how you feel - you want to be in heels all the time! But it makes sense to have a comfort shoe and now that they are just as trendy, I'm sure you will have fun styling them!
