Trench coat

I have previously talked about wardrobe staples (read here), but ones again I want to highlight one of most iconic pieces- trench coat. Whether a classic khaki or one with trendy updates anyway it will be timeless and chic piece. And no matter how you decide style up your look with trench coat - chic or casual it always will work out stylish and wonderful.

Claimed designed in the 1901 by Thomas Burberry and Aquascutum the 1850's, the original trench was submitted as an army officer's raincoat worn by British and French soldiers in First World War.
Trench coat have become fashionable in the decades following Second World War as a businesslike respectability.
And goofing around, clearly.

sneak in

Despite that it's just a January,  I'm so looking forward to Spring. Completely naturally Spring colours in new garments, accessories and make-up are appearing in my wardrobe. But I'm still not giving up my knits yet. I have to admit that they're essential through all year here in Ireland.

Happy weekend my darlings!

Office envy

I have always been proud and loved my room at my mom's house, because I had my own decorated room and my dear, dear desk. Which for me was most important piece of furniture, because I wasn't just doing my homework's, I was doing all my arts and crafts as well.
Now the reality of my blogging or jewelry designing life is that I'm usually in pjs  typing away on my couch while watching my favorite reality television shows. It's not ideal and definitely not glamorous but one day I dream of a clean, bright my own home office to blog / work from.

Jenna Lyon's J.Crew president and creative directors office is so amazing. I love that it's place where indeed it's all about her and her work. I can feel such a brainstorming, just looking at it. Love that wall.

How wonderful idea!

This is so cute and girly work space with all pretty details.

I'm such a sucker for boxes and all office supplies. This sis so charming and well organized. Ahhhh...loooove.

Are you dreaming of that awesome space that's all your own too - free to decorate as you please?

Peace, joy and

What a wonderful Saturday, despite cold wind which was noticeable as soon as door was open. A bit shopping, a bit photoshoting and lot of wonderful books and green tea.

One of my Christmas stocking fillers was navy crackle nail polish. My new favorite.

I love simple band rings, since I inherited one from my mom, which she bought when she was expecting me. This one I received from my man. It's so cute and dear to me

Christmas time

I love Christmas, I think even more I love time before Christmas- December. Then in the air can feel these great expectation. It seems that everyone is smiling more, is more kind and open to everything good and beautiful. No matter how crazy our days gets, but still there is a great peace before and at Christmas time.

This Christmas for me was completely different from others, because we both was ill. We didn't had plans for Christmas, just spend it peacefully together in bed watching some movie and having something yummy or catching up with sleep, because all December for us was very busy, working at weekends as well. But our friends didn't let us alone at Christmas, they took us in both ill and poorly looking caring about us and we had wonderful time despite all illness.

I want to share with you just few..yeah..even if it doesn't look so, but believe me. These are just few photos which I hardly could choose, because they are more and all wonderful which I would like to share with you.

This cute tea cup is gift from friends which they painted them self. As you now know I love my green tea :)

I love decorate house for Christmas and most of all Christmas tree.

These two which I made for order at Christmas. Two weeks before Christmas I had adult class where I taught  how to make the same trees and other Christmas ornaments.

Every year we send greeting cards and receive them. I think it's beautiful and important tradition, because no matter how busy life gets we should find spare moment for our important people in life to let them now how much we care for them personally, not by texting message or email.

Just  before New Year I starting feel better, so I couldn't sit still without cooking or baking. This is traditional Latvian Christmas pastries.

Our babe :) Tigra

I love nature and having home natural things this huge basket with big pine cones we picked up at river side where they was washed ashore after storm. Just added some fairy lights and baubles.
