Boat-necked striped shirt

Perhaps some of you have heard in my comments admiring your stripy tops and admitting how I'm looking for some of this iconic clothing piece for addition to my wardrobe.
Saturday we went to nearest town for some shopping and I ended up wandering around in all shops. Just when I thought I have to leave store I saw this simple top with navy- blue stripes. Yayy! In a moment I thought I have to take two pairs of them, but this was only one left. No wonder.
Just before till I saw this bag on pile of others. I couldn't pass it, so I went to look closer. It looked so cute and vintage that I couldn't resist. When I saw price I was stunned, it was on sale.
Even if I was decided not spend my money on some spontaneous purchases, I couldn't resist these two.  I tried to justify myself that these items or even alike are not in my wardrobe, so I have to fill this gap. Haha!
My sequin cape is from long time ago. I have to admit it wasn't wearing it before, because I thought that people will misunderstand me, that I'm showing off. But now I'm more daring than ever I have been so there was the time to get it out for some show off and little bit make casual look more interesting.
I so love these stripes and top that now I have big craving for new stripy tops. Haha!

    I love your hat darling I mean love it. I keep telling myself I wont spend either so i decided not to go to malls or any of my favourite stores...and somehow I bought a tea set lol...talk about not wanting to spend...:)

    A boat-neck striped tee is the perfect basic item to start every fabulous outfit. I love that you paired yours with that gorgeous sequined capelet- it's so unexpected, but the result is stunning. Your green-accented boater is the perfect finishing touch, and you look so, so beautiful in the final shot- I think that might be my favourite photo of you yet :)
