When I grow up..

When I was in my teens I had huge girl crush on Buffy Summers. She was not just pretty girl, she was fun and edgy, oh, gosh she was so cool.  She was the vampire slayer. 

I loved her style. Always in some cute feminine tops mixing with casual jeans, pants or matching with pretty skirts or lovely dresses and some gorgeous coat or leather jacket.  It's such a shame that there is  so little what can be found on Internet about her and especially her looks. Even now looking back she seems had great sense of style..with some exception..haha..it seems we all have bad choices days.

work work work

All week I've been working like crazy- jewelry, knitting, crocheting, etc.  I decided to show you some works with what I have been busy that I haven't seen blogging much. The Hello Kitty hat is already in shop, but flower headband and pink hat are haven't done. There is needed to add some detailing, I think about some beads, ribbon. Weekend have been not so pleasant, because of heavy raining and strong winds, so I hadn't got a chance to take some look of the day photos.

I love this time of season when I can go crazy with layering. It's always much more fun, because I can play with lengths, texture, colours, mix& match, etc.

back to black

I have to admit in my wardrobe is quite hard to find some black garments. Not because it's black, but just because I find that black sometimes can be hard to pull off. It can have so many undertones( brown-ish or blue-ish) that it's hard to mix and match with other black or it's simply looks not very pretty. It can wash out easily and even if it can hide some imperfection, but yet it can catch all little bits and pieces which aren't so particularly pleasant to see on any garment.

But when I got as a gift this pretty dress I was sold on it in the moment when I saw it. A classic a-line mini dress that’s appropriate even on the chilliest evenings and that cute lace bow with pearls add such a special touch to this simple garment. Ruffled sleeves gives symmetry to a-line and one more wonderful detail. 

Here I go bananazzzz.. Still sometimes I find myself awkward at photoshot. So I start fooling around.

STOP! It's time for tomboy

Lately menswear is going feminine and tomboy style icons like Agyness Deyn, Freja Beha Erichsen, Diane Keaton, Marlene Dietrich, Katharine Hepburn are keeping this trend alive among all traditional feminine & girly. Even Coco Chanel was a rule- braking tomboy.

To achieve this cool and trendy look you can go classic with pair black, straight leg pants, crisp, white shirt and  a bit over sized blazer. But if you want just add a bit whimsy to your look go for some quirky accessories like bowtie, suspenders, fedora or bowler hat, loafers.

I went for tartan bowtie and oversized, white shirt which I layered under oversized sweater and my knitted, white hat, black tights and wedges boots make a balance adding some simplicity to all look.

This weekend we're meeting up with our friends for dinner and just having fun. I bake already some vanilla cupcakes. Recipe you can find from Laura (White Winters) , just icing I made myself.

my little crumbs of happiness

What a week! If all around country everyone was enjoying Indian Summer then we in South was soaking wet, but oh what the heck I got at least one photo  for my blog.

Little wonderful things and one of them are my pearls. I don't own many of them, but everything what I have I cherish dearly. I love them wearing and since I was little girl I wanted to have real pearls. My love (boyfriend) didn't know about my wish, but thinking about me he made a beautiful gift real pearl necklace years ago and now I have some earrings and bracelet as well. Thank You!

I love simple things. They're the best ones. 

One of them is when we walk hand in hand. I know that there are some couples who don't walk hand in hand, but for us it is important. Just to feel that we're here together and for each other.

I love to see when older couples still are walking hand in hand , it's so sweet.

Since Fall is here and not only our wardrobe is changing, but our menu too. Lately I and my boy are loving to bake apples in oven with honey & cinnamon. This was my childhood tradition. When Fall was here and apple harvest was done in cold evenings as a yummy snack we baked apples in oven. Mmmmm..

You can always add some nuts, bake with butter and brown sugars and serve with ice cream, but most of all I love keep it simple, you know simple things ;), just with honey and cinnamon. Divine!

This is our baby girl Tigra. Our bundle of joy. She is so cute when she is sleeping, because when she is awake she is crazzzzyyy, funny and so playful. Haha! Love her so much!
