pink star walk

The other day I popped into Pennys shop just to kill the time while my boy was busy with his things. On sale shelf in big pile of other clothes I saw this beautiful mint green striped sleeve which draw my attention to go closer and take a look. In that moment I already knew that I will take it home no matter what because of this wonderful colour mix, but when I saw that it's basic long sleeve top I was more than happy and when I checked up price I was soooo surprised - €1 !!!Whaaaaattt!!? I couldn't believe.

 I don't know about you darlings, but I sometimes get inspired with the weirdest things. Well not weird - but just random. It can be anything - from cute notepaper or flowers or cartoon character or like in this case just a simple color mix.

Just when I stepped over my home doorstep I instantaneously in my mind put together this look. My pink star socks which I got from Cropp in Latvia I think was perfect fun touch to this girly look.
Don't you think that socks are one of most scandalous clothing piece even if it's not nothing improper? Oh, I felt thus.

Even if I rise some eyebrows, but still I received so many smiles, attention and some lovely compliments.

Happy Birthday!

I still can't believe that year is gone and here it is One Year Blog- iversary and my  Birthday! Yeah, as strange it would sound I created my blog in my Birthday evening when all celebration came to an end.

My boyfriend is one who I have to blame on it. I think that six month before I mentioned him that I would like to create my own blog, but I wasn't quite sure that somebody would like to read it and since then he determinedly started talk into to kick off my blog. He knew how passionated I've been about fashion all my life just after long battle with different obstacles I have became self conscious about my passion.

On my Birthday evening he started again this conversation about my passion and that I have to do something with it, blog would be great beginning. I have to be honest I was too scared  to be failure, but somehow he talk me into it or maybe it was too much champagne. Haha! Yeah, but after at least six hours I made my first post, but I think actual beginning of my blogging was after couple month when as a new, passioned love blogging took over me.

I want to thank You all my lovely bloggers to having me in this big, wonderful blogger's family. For all support and encouragement. It wouldn't  be possible without you all  and  my boy :) Thank you!

THANK YOU!

Hello loves!

It's so goooood to be back! I have to apologize about all your missed lovely posts, but I promise you to catch up with them.

I want to thank you all who wished- for sooner finding our cat Tigra.  

Yayyy! We found her at Sundays evening and if we wouldn't she would be dead. Seriously!

She was trapped in some renovated building in shop units which wasn't completely done. We think that in panic she found some hole got in through it and then forgot about it. All week we was passing by that building calling her and we doesn't saw her there because all windows was smudged white. Can you imagine how she felt when we was calling her and passing by without seeing her. She was so scared and hungry. Gosh!

Sunday we thought that perhaps we should try to look what is inside and so we went to all windows and in last one I saw Tigra sitting and looking at as with her big green eyes. In that moment I screamed :"Tigra!" She jumped to that window and cuddle up to glass with so loud purr that we heard it through window. She was so missing us. 

We brought her home, fed her, because she was skin and bone. Imagine 7 days without food and water! Then we washed her even if she didn't like it. But she was so, so happy again be home she never stopped purr, shift from one foot to the other, snuggle up, follow us where ever we went. Since then she every night sleeps with us and are sooooo sweet. She appreciate us even more. 

All this week she is just eating and sleeping, because she have to get her energy back. Now she looks much more better.

We're so, so , so, so happy to have her home.

Wednesday I had my Name day. In Latvia we celebrate names every day, my Name day is 20 of July every year and today is my mom's Name day.
In Ireland they don't have Name day's so I celebrated it with my boy and cat. I had lovely Name day wishes from Latvia. It was nice.

The Tall Ships Race 2011

On 2nd July we went to nearby Waterford to see spectacular Tall Ship Festival which was in honour of the Tall Ship Race 2011.
The start of the day wasn't very promising because of gloomy day and few raindrops which was threatening with heavy rain, but everything turn for better and at the afternoon we had so sunny and hot day that at the evening I notice some sunburn.

This is my little bit nautical inspired look. As Coco Chanel admirer I added to my look pearls.

Some photo with sailor girl from Russian tall ship Mir or Мир. I think this is tough job for everyone and especially for woman. You rock girl!

The Colombian Navy boys didn't went unnoticed anywhere. Dark and in amazing uniform they took all looks no matter if it's woman or man. They just look so stunning. Everyone wanted to take some photos with them.
Haha! Even I couldn't resist for those uniforms.

We wasn't be able to get on board of  all ships just three, because of  long queues, the festival  was so attended, but still we enjoyed all sideshows on the land. It was so great day and so much fun!

P.S. sorry for the lack of visits to your blogs, but our cat is missing since Sundays night. 

Every day and night we're looking for her. This all past days we have been able to sleep maybe 8 hours, so we're tired and  upset. Everyone is telling us that she will return after week, but deep inside me I'm not sure of it, because she is so easily frightened, she never been out and we live on a main street in aparment where trafic is very busy.

One more beautiful day which we decided to spend visiting nearby our town located Johnstown Castle Garden.

It was quite windy so my hair was a mess. Well bad form me that I don't have big entourage who would go with me everywhere and look for me. Yeah, what can I do, I'm just real girl.

Magnificent peacocks are wandering in Johnstown Castle Garden. They're so used to people that they approach so close.

feeling 20's inspiration

These days we're lucky to not have any rain drop, even if it's some days little bit  gloomy, but yet it's better than before . So we had some day off and we visited magnificent Lismore Castle gardens. 800 year old Lismore Castle - most recently renovated in the 21st Century, but still it hasn't lost her old charm in any way. Dating from 1170, Lismore is a privately owned castle offering luxury accommodation on an exclusive hire basis, just gardens are opened for public viewing.

For so long I was waiting to wear this dress again and when I put together this look it felt to me so 20's inspired even if it wasn't meant to be. In instants I felt so coquettishly feminine. For complete 20's look I've been missing little, cute hat, but I wasn't aiming for 20's look in first place. I just went for what felt much better.

A haven of tranquility.
